The spirit of Elijah at work in Vietnamese churches in San Diego

Dear Esteemed Partners in the Great Commission,
The two of us just returned to Houston from a weekend of training mostly Vietnamese believers in San Diego, It was a very fruitful trip!
After the Basic Training last Friday and Saturday, we held two Evangelistic Healing Services yesterday on Sunday. After the gospel was preached clearly, the Lord used the trained believers to heal many people with infirmities as confirmation of the truth of the gospel. Among some of the many testimonies: growths disappeared; cataracts vanished; severely impaired hearing was restored; a child with difficulty speaking chattered nonstop over the microphone after I interviewed her mother; a teenage boy who had suffered from persistent debilitating pain from hurting his ankle a year ago was jumping up and down with no more pain and seen skateboarding after the meeting. There were excited testimonies of demons being expelled. One Vietnamese couple had come to the event from Pomona two hours away quite obviously oppressed by demons and enshrouded in spiritual darkness. By Sunday their countenance had changed completely. The wife was smiling brightly, and her husband was not only set free from the demons but was also ministering healing with power to others! Several other testimonies of healing need confirmation from a medical doctor. The manifestations of God’s healing power we are witnessing in The Elijah Challenge seem to be getting greater and greater. The Lord is good!
All these miracles yesterday proved that Jesus had authority to forgive sin:
Mark 2:10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins….” He said to the paralytic, 11? “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 12 He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
They also proved that He is the only way to the Father:
John 14:6 ?Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ?
…11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
After the preaching and the demonstrations of power, the people repented of sin and committed themselves to obeying our Lord Jesus as His disciples.
The saints are excited and encouraged and plan to take the gospel and the demonstration of power outside the “box” of the church to the shopping mall where the lost congregate.
It appears that the Lord may be opening the door for us to train believers in the San Diego area where William accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior 33 years ago. This would be a fulfillment of our desire to take The Elijah Challenge back to our “Jerusalem”!
This coming weekend William will be conducting the Basic Training in Alberta, Canada.
