Testimonies from the Bahamas…
Houston, Texas
Monday, May 4, 2009
Dear Fellow Saints of the Coming Kingdom,
Late last night I returned home to Houston. I thank the Lord for His kindness.
Thank you for interceding for the Training in the Bahamas. It was fruitful. Below are two testimonies we received last night after arriving home.
This is from Linda Virgill, a Bahamian magistrate (judge):
I WAS SO INSPIRED THE OTHER NIGHT AT THE ELIJAH CHALLENGE MEETINGS. THANK YOU FOR INVITING ME. I FEEL AS IF I’VE BEEN TAKEN TO A NEW LEVEL IN THE FAITH.
AS A MATTER OF FACT, MY FAITH HAS BEEN RESTORED AND I AM GOING TO REVISIT THE FUNDAMENTAL WORDS OF JESUS, AS HE SPOKE THEM TO HIS DISCIPLES. THANK YOU.”
And this is from Tamesha Keel, a sister with a law degree who flew in from Miami, Florida for the Training:
“I pray that all is well with you! I wanted to let you know that I made it back safely to Miami. God is so AWESOME as I was able to catch an earlier flight. In addition, He healed a woman of stomach pain who I prayed for at my hotel in the Bahamas. She was crying and praising God for His goodness! I wish I had your card because I was telling everyone at the hotel about your ministry and I could’ve just given them the cards so that they can check it out. I’m so excited—I can’t wait to pray for others at the homeless shelter and anywhere else.
I had such a fabulous time this past weekend. I’m so happy that I came. I want to thank you for EVERYTHING!!! May God continue to bless you, your family, and ministry. I will definitely be in touch and I pray that you do the same.”
Another brother who has done open-air street evangelism told me that he was completely transformed after attending the second session.
Unfortunately, the enemy took exception at what the Lord did. My elderly mother, perhaps abetted by a side effect of the pills which help her to sleep, was seized by a fit of apparently unprovoked anger and accusation as I was returning home. The scene shortly after I returned home last night was, to put it mildly, unpleasant. Although this morning my mother regrets the incident last night and a measure of peace has been restored, please pray for Lucille, our daughter Sarah, for me and my mother. We still need healing. My heart is aching a bit. Such things happen not uncommonly after I return home from a ministry trip.
Sincerely in Christ,
William
