Dear Brethren,

The Lord was gracious and anointed us to teach and minister at Grace Chapel in Houston earlier this morning. During the demonstration near the end of the service, two ladies were wonderfully healed of pain in their feet as believers laid hands on them and with mountain-moving faith exercised their authority over infirmities given by Jesus Christ. The saints were built up in their faith by the teaching and the demonstration of power. Thank you for praying for us!

1 Corinthians 2:4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.

Pastor Larry Leung was also present at the service. At the end he strode briskly to the front and vigorously challenged God’s people to take the power of the gospel to the many lost people in Houston with the teaching they had just received. I was surprised at his strength and vitality. We will be back in Grace Chapel in two weeks to complete the series. Please pray that the saints of Grace Chapel will launch out in the spirit and power of Elijah to proclaim the Kingdom of God under the leadership of Pastor Larry Leung.

We just received a report from the streets of Chicago, where our brother Michael Dyke has been ministering with his team of street preachers. Below is the report taken from our website. Do read and rejoice at what the Lord is doing during these last days through “nameless and faceless” believers like you and me!

Michael Dyke, Founder of Taking It To The Streets, attended The Elijah Challenge Training in April 2007. Michael and the team ministered in Chicago in September & October 2008 as guests of Jonathan Speckman. On October 12 we received the following report from Jonathan.

“In the last three days about 30 plus people have given their hearts to the Lord Jesus—nine today!

A drunken man was ringing my door bell at 7 am on Friday morning asking for money for gas to get to court because he was going to jail. I had met him about a month ago, so it was strange to see him at my door that morning. When I met him at that time, the Lord wanted me to pray over his bad leg. He had gotten into a fight with a man with a baseball bat and had been beaten up badly. As a result of his injuries he had a titanium leg and walked very abnormally.

I had missed the opportunity to minister to him at that time a month ago, so I wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass by! I preached the gospel to him at 7 am in the morning in my driveway, and told him that Jesus was the only way to the Father. To prove that what I was telling him was the truth, I would heal his leg in the name of Jesus [according to John 14:11-12 and Luke 10:9]. He thought it was nonsense but the Lord proved himself to be TRUE! One of the Taking It To The Streets brothers came outside and we both laid hands on his leg and commanded it to be healed in the name of Jesus and for the pain to leave and for the bones to be healed and re-formed.

You should have seen the look on this gentleman’s face when the pain left. He was standing on one leg and was freaking out! In amazement he exclaimed, ‘You guys! What? You guys just healed my leg!’”


Michael Dyke also wrote separately to report:

“We have lead seventeen people to the Lord, including five people healed miraculously and two people delivered from demonic power. Glory to God! That was just in the last 24 hours.”
