Dear Brethren in Christ,

The Lord graciously anointed me to train His servants on the first day of the Basic Training here in the city of Warri, Delta State. Although the physical conditions here—heat, very poor and unsanitary living conditions for the people, and unreliable electricity to run the LCD projector for the Training—are dreadful, the servants of God are being effectively equipped to heal the sick as they proclaim the Kingdom of God to hardened idol-worshipers and the followers of witchcraft. They were hungry and attentive and devoured the teaching from Scripture. Most of all, they were unusually enthusiastic and grateful to the Lord for what they had received. Such power and authority to perform miracles are absolutely necessary for preaching the gospel here in the great spiritual darkness of Africa. During the demonstrations of healing in the sessions when they applied what was taught, every infirm person on whom they laid hands was healed or physically touched by the Lord. It was indeed eye-opening for them.

The very powerful spirit of witchcraft in Africa is a spiritual giant—a “Goliath”—which is feared by the Church. They have never been taught how to fight and kill this powerful giant. I am grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to train God’s servants how to defeat this giant and set free multitudes from bondage to witchcraft.

Tonight they will be healing the infirm at the open-air outreach led by TEC Coordinator for Kenya, Pastor Benard Okello. (They don’t need me there.) I am expecting to hear powerful reports from them tomorrow at the morning Training session.

May the Lord launch these servants of God out in the spirit and power of Elijah to heal the sick and proclaim the Kingdom of God (Luke 10:9) after I leave this Wednesday, delivering many from the power of witchcraft and idolatry!

Thank you for interceding for us, dear partners.

On Wednesday afternoon I leave for Lagos and three more days of meetings.

Sincerely in Christ,

William
