Dear Intercessors & Partners in the Great Commission,
Up until now our focus in The Elijah Challenge has been to conduct the Basic Training for disciples of the Lord. After being properly trained, the disciples then obey the Lord by going out to heal the sick and proclaim the kingdom of God to the lost as Jesus commanded his disciples in Luke 9 and 10. Although with the Lord’s gracious help we have had some success with the Training, we have fallen short in the area of organizing follow-up opportunities for disciples actually to do what they have been trained to do. We have received a report from TEC Coordinator Pastor Joshua Gowda in India. This month’s Feeding Event in an unreached Hindu village in Punjab saw 270 Hindus believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. The very first service of the newborn Elijah Challenge Church took place the following Sunday morning. 160 new believers gathered to worship their Savior. Read The Full Story…

Dear Brethren in Christ,
We have completed the Training here after two evenings of evangelistic healing services at the Vietnamese Mennonite Church. The Lord was gracious to use the trained disciples to heal those with infirmities, and several testified of being healed or touched by the Lord on both evenings. One man was healed after 25 years of pain in his hands and neck and upper back. Dear Fellow Disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Well over sixty people from 21 different churches attended the first session of the Elijah Challenge Basic Training in Houston the past weekend at the ministry offices of Eddie and Alice Smith. The Lord was very gracious to use me to train his disciples. Lucille said that it was the most effective presentation that she had seen so far. We received some very encouraging comments from some of the brethren, even from one maidservant of God who had been trained under a well-known ministry based in the Houston area.
