Dear Partners in the Great Commission,

This morning I put approximately 400 trainees through the initial session of boot camp. I have never before seen such a large group of on fire, sold-out disciples under one roof. They had come together from various cities under the covering of Pastor Jonathan Ferreira, an elder statesman with apostolic authority in Brazil. The spiritual atmosphere was highly charged with these believers chomping at the bit like racehorses at the starting gate. All they need is to be taught about their weapon—the authority Christ gives to His disciples to heal the sick—and exactly how to use it to perform miracles of healing to demonstrate to the lost that the kingdom is near.

At the end of the session, we did a demonstration of healing. The infirm and the disciples filled the platform; they couldn’t wait to lay hands on them and exercise their authority. The Lord was gracious, and several testified that the Lord had healed them. In particular, a Catholic woman had come to the session as an invited guest. She had been in an accident, and could walk only with the help of a cane. By the end of the ministry—there was some last second help from me in moving the mountain from the edge of the cliff into the sea—she was literally all thumbs up, walking normally without her cane. The saints are pumped up and ready to launch their door-to-door invasion of Santa Cruz this afternoon after lunch.

Luke 10:9 Heal the sick, and tell them, “the kingdom of God is near you.”

Wouldn’t it be wonderful and pleasing to the Lord if we could do this in the United States?

Please pray for the foot soldiers as they go door-to-door this afternoon, dear ones. (Actually, that would be about right now.) May the Lord use them in the spirit and power of Elijah. I would be blessed and encouraged to hear many testimonies of miraculous healings from them when we assemble again for our second Training session tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow evening I will hold a special Advanced Training session for pastors only. I would like to teach them how to train their own people. May the Lord grant me the wisdom to do this effectively.

PS  Below is an update I received from Pastor Subodh Jena, our brother in Orissa, India:

Dear Pastor,

Greetings to you in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are fine here by the grace of God and we pray that you are also doing well at there.

We know that Our God is a powerful God as He approved Himself by doing a miracle and a marvelous manifestation.
Just happened the incident on Yesterday evening.
Always we use to have the Friday evening fellowship in one of our Church believer’s home. Who came to the Lord for the last one year (from Hindu).Their Hindu relatives lives in Raipur city (Madhya Pradesh)
In Raipur city there was a young sister name Bhumica M.A first year. She was attacked by devil  by some of the witchcraft .So time to time she uses to posses by the power of Devil for the last five years. When it attacks she looses her conscious and she does what the devil spirit leads her to do. In this way she suffered a lot by the power of devil spirit.
And Bhumica is belongs to a Hindu family.
As their relatives also suffered for around ten years by the Devil and delivered from there in Bhawanipatna. So also they brought her (Bhumica) to Bhawaniatna to deliver from that bondage through our ministry.
Last night while we went to that house and saw her terrible condition that she was.
I command in Jesus name to leave the Demon spirit that possessed she fell down for the moment. After the Demon left she became alright. Those who were there they praised God for the wonderful miracle that took place she also testified the touch she  experienced.    Praise the Lord.

I am very glad to inform you that the Kui-Soura mountain tribal people are so glad for our ministry.

They are requesting and telling Pastor please come to our area and minister to those people who do not know Christ and there are so many villages where people do not know any thing about Jesus Christ. They were saying,
“We have seen the power of God by healing our body we believe surely people will come to Christ through this type of ministry. We are very much blessed and touched by the power of God”.
After the program there are so many new comers who received the Lord Jesus Christ in that meeting. Those people came to attend the Sunday service in the next week too.

We also heard many praising report from the Ramagiri relief camp after our departure.
They are very glad for the spiritual restoration and also fund extended by the Elijah Challenge ministry.

The purchasing of land is on the process, on the month of Feb they are going to do the land registration so they have asked me to come if it is possible during that time.
Slowly they will start the house building work in the place of purchasing land.
They have also informed us that after over all the official formality we will arrange a one day prayer meeting over there.  Please pray for them.
