Today in America there are innumerable churches which have the word “Grace” in their names. This reflects the central tenet of Christianity that God’s grace for the forgiveness of sins was made available freely through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Basic Training held at influential Houston Church

Dear Brethren in Christ and Partners in His Great Commission,
Last night I taught the first session of the Basic Training held at Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston. This large church is led by Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell, known as the pastor of former President George H. Bush and who prayed at his Presidential Inauguration.

For some time now, something has been simmering within me. With the current crisis in America, it has heated up and finally boiled over. I have put it down on paper. I have been struggling to find the right words so as not to be misunderstood. I am an American, and I love my country. But my greater allegiance is to God.
